1. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

 MarriageChime strictly enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any user accounts found engaging in such behavior will be permanently removed and reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for further action.

 

2. Published Standards Against CSAE

 MarriageChime prohibits the following actions without exception: 

·      Sharing, soliciting, or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

·      Any attempt at grooming or exploiting minors in any way

·      Any form of contact, content, or communication that violates child protection laws

 We align with international standards, including those from the Tech Coalition, to prevent and eliminate CSAE online.

 

3. Reporting Mechanism

 MarriageChime empowers users to help us identify and stop abuse through built-in feedback tools:

·      User Reporting System:

Users can report inappropriate content or behavior through the in-app report button or the designated support email.

·      Moderation and Review:

We utilize automated systems and manual moderation to detect and remove any CSAM-related content or activities.

·      Law Enforcement Collaboration:

Any reports of CSAM are immediately escalated to relevant authorities, including the Bangladesh Cyber Police Center

 

4. Addressing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

 Upon detection or notification of CSAM: 

·      The content is immediately removed

·      The responsible user is banned without warning

·      Reporting the content to the Cyber Crime Centre (CID) or other relevant authorities in compliance with applicable laws.

·      Cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies to ensure swift action.

 

5. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

 MarriageChime is committed to full legal compliance under:

·      Cyber Safeguard Ordinance, 2025 (Bangladesh)

·      Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2017 (Bangladesh)

·      International CSAE standards such as COPPA and GDPR-K

We continuously review our policies to remain aligned with evolving laws and global best practices.

7. User Education & Awareness

 Inappropriate messages are automatically flagged by our system.

We are developing further technology to flag violent, illegal, or harmful messages before they are reported by users.

We encourage users to stay alert and report suspicious activity to protect the platform.

 

8. Enforcement & Consequences

 Violation of this policy will result in:

·      Immediate account suspension or deletion

·      Cooperation with law enforcement

·      Permanent ban from the platform

 MarriageChime reserves the right to update this policy to comply with new regulations or safety technology.

 

9. Urgent Threats

 If you suspect a child is in immediate danger, please contact local law enforcement without delay.
